Changing Language in SM 1.5.2 [SVN]

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hallo

I have SM 1.5.2 [SVN] from today (3.12.2009) and i just downloaded the
locales from here:
http://squirrelmail.org/countdl.php?fileurl=http%3A%2F%2Fsnapshots.squirrelmail.org%2Fsquirrelmail-20091203_0200-SVN.locales.tar.gz

After that I installed the locales by starting the install which asked me
for the current path to squirrelmail. After that I had many directorys in my
squirrelmail/locale like de_DE and other.

So I sayd in squirrelmail/config/config.php
$squirrelmail_default_language = 'de_DE';
$default_charset          = 'iso-8859-1';

I installed locales with aptitude install locales and I run dpkg-reconfigure
locales and I selected de_DE ISO-8859-1 and after that i restart my apache
server.

Now I run the configtest and get the following Information (when I opend
"Test translations"):
German (de_DE) - supported. Tested de_DE.ISO8859-1, de_DE.ISO-8859-1, de_DE
locales. setlocale() returned "de_DE.ISO8859-1"

When I look in the squirrelmail/locale/de_DE directory there are now the
following elements:
- LC_MESSAGES
- setup.php

in setup.php is the following:
$languages['de_DE']['NAME']    = 'German';
$languages['de_DE']['ALTNAME'] = 'Deutsch';
$languages['de_DE']['CHARSET'] = 'iso-8859-1';
$languages['de_DE']['LOCALE']  =
array('de_DE.ISO8859-1','de_DE.ISO-8859-1','de_DE');
$languages['de']['ALIAS'] = 'de_DE';

and in directory LC_MESSAGES are many *.po and *.mo files.

The *mo files are binarys and the *.po files has the german translation in
it.

But I can't get the german translation in SM.

What make I wrong?
