Hey thanks for the quick response.
I have a setting called home_mailbox = Maildir/
in /etc/postfix/main.cf
Actually before I set that mails were stored in /var/mail/xxxx

But now even if I delete that setting in main.cf nothing changes and the inbox is still empty.
A strange thing is that if i move mails from the Sent folder to the Inbox in squirrelmail they actually appear in inbox, but not the new emails.

You think what you said is still the problem?

You don't appear to have Cyrus delivery configured in your MTA.  Cyrus
does not store mail in user home directories.

Look in the Cyrus docs for info about setting this up.
