I'm glad that our code is working, but I don't understand your reference
to Outlook. Outlook is a Windows installed client, whereas SquirrelMail is
a web server installed client. A comparison to Hotmail would be more
proper.

I don't understand. You write that you "require this software in English"
and that the "default language of SquirrelMail is English", so why do you
have to modify the code? I you don't want to allow the users to choose the
language of their choice, all you have to do is to make sure that the
directory "locale/" is empty.
