I don't think this is a new feature by any stretch.

Future versions of the Shared Calendar plugin hopefully will support
this feature.

You need to send the full message source.  You also need to explain
what you mean by "blank".  You also need to send any PHP errors from
your logs if any are occurring.

Currently the best it will do is display the contents, not support
answering the meeting request.
