html_mail plugin: attaching images instead of linking?

Hey folks,

I have a requirement from "the other side of the business" to
facilitate both HTML mail, as well as graphical, all-singing
all-dancing signatures. Sigh.

I installed html_mail 2.3-1.4 to give it a go, but I do not
see the ability to attach images instead of just linking to them.
They won't link, they want it all contained in the email they
send, so I'm not sure if this plugin will do what I need it to.

Yes, I know this is all a horrible idea. No, I can't fight
them on this one, unfortunately. :(

This is on a CentOS 5.2 server running SquirrelMail 1.4.15 on
PHP 5.1.6-20.

Can this plugin do attached images? If so, I'd really
appreciate someone showing me how. Optionally, if it cannot, is
there one that I'm missing that *can*?

Thanks much,

Benny
