You have to be VERY SPECIFIC as to what you are doing. SquirrelMail is NOT the "local server", and the only way to "trust all emails" that I can think of in SquirrelMail is by using the unsafe_image_rules plugin. DISABLE that plugin while testing. View the message normally, then click on the "View Unsafe Images" link it provides in the "Options" list above the message. Maybe you are using NutsMail or similar.
