    I don't see it either when looking at the message with SM, but it 
is adding spaces to the second line of a folded header.  I composed a 
message with a very long subject in SquirrelMail and then did a snoop 
command to capture the packets between the SM host and the SMTP 
host.  Here is a snippet of the dump:

As you can see, the client has added five spaces to the second line 
of the folded Subject: header.  This is SquirrelMail 1.4.13, Solaris 
10.  The installed plugins are:
