Using SquirrelMail to monitor sendmail queue

I have sendmail that is used as a transport for a number of domains.

On the whole I have whole domains mapped onto a particular mailertable
entry, not individual addresses in my virtusertable.

Occasionally, the remote host goes down for a period of time and my
customer wants to be able to review the mails that are queueing for his
mail system.

I can list these from the Linux shell but I wondered whether I could get
Squirrelmail to allow me to give my customer access to his mail queue.

I think I may be asking a little too much here because I fully
understand that sendmail is a mail transport and not a mail server.

However, is perhaps the MIME encoded email in the mqueue directory a
similar format to an entry in the Squirrelmail inbox perhaps? Maybe I
could copy mails to the inbox directory in a shell script?

I am clutching at straws but have been looking for something that will
do this for months and seeing the there is a virtusertable plugin made
me think that perhaps Squirrelmail can do what I need.

Many thanks all,

jON
