I understood the posting guides well, because i sent the previos mail accidentally as I explained, take this mail as a FRESH one and ignore the previous one:). > > On Jan 31, 2008 1:25 AM, Oguzhan Kayhan <oguzhank@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> Maybe i have to explain better what is in my mind. >> we are using a single webpage for all domain logins. >> as webmail.bilkent.edu.tr >> And with a pulldown menu with multilogin plugin, i am able to get >> Imap, smtp, some plugins, domain variables. >> We have different departmens in university and some uses imap servers >> which doesnt support/or needed extra configuration to support usernamels >> like user@xxxxxxxxxxx So sending username like this will be a problem >> for >> us. >> Thats why we prefer to send only the usernames not the domain part. > > I see. It sounds to me like you'll need a custom modification to > sasql. See below. Actually, one of my previous attempt is to modify the login page manually, and create a folder structure like /usr/share/squirrelmail/domain1/ /domain2/ /domain3/ and with the pulldown menu on login page , to get the config file from the suitable directory. In this solution , i can make a complete seperation between mail servers but, it was not the right way as you can understand. Any update could be a real pain , that i have to update all folders (and 3 physical servers that makes load balancing this config) The biggest advantage of this system was, with some modification in cookie part of the code, i was able to login from different domains at the same time with same browser on same computer, which i think i cant do with vlogin or multilogin plugins. > >> So i am not sure what is best solution. >> I am trying to figure out vlogin plugin but as i see, it uses virtual >> hostnames or urls to add domain names.
