Fix SELinux permissions first." squirrelmail is a tarball, just get the new version and untar it to the locacation your old version resides. No need to get a package. You really should use .13 (may need to be patched) oder .14SVN as there are some security risks fixed lately in it. Also the new version gives you better control on authenticated smtp...
