when cross checking with richard, it looks as if 1.4.12 introduced this
error. With him, 1.4.11 is still working correctly, I tried 1.4.10a from
another server I'm responsible for and it's working, too.

If some developer could check which part of the code was changed from .11
to .12 (I thought it was just a matter of attachments), I could modify and
test with my 1.4.13 to eliminate this issue...
