Cannot access the login page

Hi all.

After installing squirrelmail from the FreeBSD-port and configuring it I
successfully ran the configtest.php-script.

When I press the 'Login now'-link, I get a popup asking me where to save
login.php.

If I check /var/log/httpd-error.log I find this every time I access that
page:

/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/php/20020429/gettext.so: Undefined
symbol "php_realpath"

Can anyone understand what this error message means? Am I missing some
php module? Since I'm not missing any dependencies this seems strange.

Some version numbers..

FreeBSD 5.5p10
php4-4.4.6 (including modules for session, pcre, ssl, mysql etc)
apache-2.0.59
squirrelmail-1.4.9a

Ps. I first found this problem in squirreloutlook-1.0.3 but after
switching to squirrelmail I found that I had the exact same problem
there.

Rgds,

Thomas
