I looked up vchkpasswd and couldn't find it. I did find vchkpwd and it doesn't appear to be a poppass daemon. change_pass 2.7-1.4 only works with poppassd. I'm not sure if there is a plugin that would work with your setup or not. If you could find a poppassd for your setup the plugin would work.
