A few users currently get this on Squirrelmail 1.4.9a:
ERROR: Bad or malformed request.
Query: THREAD ORDEREDSUBJECT ISO-8859-1 ALL
Server responded: Error in IMAP command UID: ORDEREDSUBJECT threading is currently not supported.
Yet my mail configuration in Squirrelmail is:

4. Default Left Size : 150
5. Usernames in Lowercase : true
6. Allow use of priority : true
7. Hide SM attributions : false

9. Allow editing of identity : false
Allow editing of name : false
Remove username from header : false
10. Allow server thread sort : false
11. Allow server-side sorting : false
12. Allow server charset search : true
13. Enable UID support : true
14. PHP session name : SQMSESSID
15. Location base :
IMAP Settings
