The count shown by SquirrelMail is the count your IMAP server gave us.

You're using beta software for your IMAP server.  I'd recommend
checking with your IMAP server author's to see if there might be an
issue.  SquirrelMail uses standard IMAP commands to communicate with
your IMAP server.
