Show how you have configured the plugin. If your IMAP usernames don't include the domain in them, read about $dontUseHostname and as for your domain issues, you have to better explain what the difference is and what the usage is of "hostingsite.com" and "domain.com", but a wild guess is to look at the 'domain' setting inside $virtualDomains.
