If you use own courier imap compilation - recompile it with
--enable-unicode option. If you use prepackaged courier imap version - ask
package maintainer to add --enable-unicode option.

If you use some other server or can't change it, turn off server side
sorting.

If you use SquirrelMail 1.4.3 or older - please upgrade.
