Hey there...

I'm a long time squirrelmail user and I have migrated this aplication over many mail servers and many operating systems. This time I migrated the aplication from Centos to ubuntu server and and this is the first time i've ever gotten this error with the configtest.php and everytime I try to login.

FATAL ERROR: Database error: not found in preferences DSN.

I've checked the documentation, google and many other sources and most of them say that it's due to mysql's new password algorithm or php 5 who doesn't connect very well. I have recompiled php 4 many times, used both versions, production and cvs and I also changed the password form using the OLD_PASSWORD() function and I still have this error. Even using mysql4.1 and php 4 doesn't work

This is my config.php mysql section

$addrbook_dsn = 'mysql://squirrelmail:mypass@localhost/squirrelmail';
$addrbook_table = 'address';

$prefs_dsn = 'mysql://squirrelmail:mypass@localhost /squirrelmail';
$prefs_table = 'userprefs';

Is there anything I'm missing? i checked the 'not found' value but if I log into the database with that user it works and what's even more strange, I made some php scripts to test the php access to the DB and I was able to query the webmail database

Thanks a lot for your help
