I did an upgrade from squid 4.16 and got many messages like: assertion failed: Transients.cc:221: "old == e"
and it seems, that the childs crash and restart:

This proxy hasn't enabled sslbump and we don't use any cache directory.
We only cache in memory for performance reason.
Is this a known issue or shall I open a bugreport ?

I do not get viruses because I do not use MS software.
If you use Outlook then please do not put my email address in your
address-book so that WHEN you get a virus it won't use my address in the
>From field.
