Also, with a lot of ISPs, I don't think you'll get a list of *cable* modems, separate from DSL modems; many of them use combined DHCP pools for both. However, depending on what your reason for needing such a list is, you might find that a sufficiently effective solution is to do a reverse DNS lookup on an IP address and look for any of: cable dsl dynamic pool as discrete words (often in a format such as "cable-79-35-42-183.isp.com").
