Sadly, no, there is no such tutorial or a step by step document, especially when it comes to bumping with its highly environment-specific definitions of "can be bumped" and the timing of applying that definition. The wiki has working examples hiding among the noise of incorrect advice and outdated or partial information. When you make your setup work, please consider writing a good tutorial.
