I have a localy compilied the latest openssl to default location  /usr/local directory.

Is there a way to run ./configure to use the openssl headers and such in the /usr/local directories?

i compiled the latest openssl cause i'm running an old ubuntu 10.04 in which their openssl version doesn't support sha256 and i can't run the latest squid.

i hope this makes sense. thanx guys
