But there have been other bug fixes improving the overall squid stability. Things are a little bit confusing with 3.5 at present, technically it has passed the criteria for becoming stable already. On the one hand it has had more testing than any previous release so that was a hoped for outcome. On the other hand the Sept services outage has still been causing problems with beta testers being able to fetch and test the 3.5.0.1 package across Oct. So I will be giving it an extra few weeks with the stable countdown clock starting from yesterday when the main mirror servers got their updates working again.
