Please note that Rock does not use the COSS caching model, does not try
to perfect it, and does not load multiple objects in single fast disk
read. Like with any two storage systems, the are some similarities
between COSS and Rock (e.g., both use a single file per cache_dir), but
the two should be viewed as completely different storage models.
