For my 2.7 I edited errorpage.c:


	ERR_SQUID_SIGNATURE,
/*RKA-
	    "\n<BR clear=\"all\">\n"
	    "<HR noshade size=\"1px\">\n"
	    "<ADDRESS>\n"
	    "Generated %T by %h (%s)\n"
	    "</ADDRESS>\n"
*/

That removes part of squids signature in the last line. I also do not like
it for security reasons.
Furtheron,
you can edit the files in src/error:
ERR_FTP_DISABLED
etc. to be empty.
