Strange. Squid does not do anything to the response objects as they

I think it's squid problem - simple test: start embedded in FreeBSD
ftp-server (ftpd) and put on it unix-like (LF) formatted text file, then
get it directly and through squid and compare: we get two little bit
different files.

or even the client.
what CR/LF are you talking about exactly in FTP?

Tested with many clients - same results. Exactly in ftp, on http all ok.
I get this error first time after trying to get sources from
ftp://gee.cs.oswego.edu/pub/misc/
Tested on debian7: used squid3 without any changes in configuration -
same result as on FreeBSD (single LF replaced with CR+LF).
