Yeah, seems like this is samba adding it's entropy. I found that samba
3.6.x (which I've upgraded this particular server to along with
upgrading squid) isn't working on my configuration at all (even winbindd
crashes). So I returned 3.5.x, et voila, squid 3.3.x works like a charm.
