No problems with that - bytes required per cached object.
Which is different from "14 MB per GB" based on the*assumption* of
13KB average object size. It will only apply IF the average size is
13KB.
This is not an assumption, it is the average object size.
And of course, being an average, on your particular proxy it may
be larger or smaller.
But let's not distract ourselves with IF's and MAY's, and focus on what the message was:
the larger the disk cache, the larger the in-memory index of the disk cache.
The rule of thumb of "14 MB per GB" is a good indication about the size of
the in-memory index.
