Are you aiming at "minimise service disruption window" or go for
"never disrupt service" (unless a very important parameter like port
number changes).
Factory is not working on this at the moment, but if we were, I would
aim for "no disruption" (including port number changes -- there is
nothing special about that part of the configuration).

The aim is not on actual work but rather knowing what we going to think
of in the very far future.
