Hi All,

i'm trying to build the latest squid on solaris 10 and i'm facing the following problem.

<snip>
ismine/Download/squid-3.3.1# gmake
Making all in compat
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/Download/squid-3.3.1/compat'

gmake[1]: *** [assert.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/Download/squid-3.3.1/compat'
gmake: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
</snip>

the configure script runs fine without any errors. i tried squid 3.1.22 and it compiled without errors. i searched for an answer but could not find any usefull.

as far as i understand it has to do with "#pragma ident" and compiling without option -Werror would work. is there a way during configure to have this option disabled or do i have to edit all makefiles? or is there another way to get around this?

regards
markus
