Which definition of "transparent" are you trying to achieve?
Just HTTP redirected from a Cisco router. I have tried doing this from a
Linux IPTables based firewall in the past and had issues.
I tried a quick test last night and it seemed to work fine with no
tricks. But I'd still like to know if there's anything odd to watch out for.
