If squidGuard has a showstopper, I suggest to look at ufdbGuard.
ufdbGuard has regular releases, a support desk, and additional features
to block VPNs, block unsafe HTTPS traffic, enforce SafeSearch and
much higher performance.

Is there any line before 13:30:07 which shows more information?

Hi Helmut,

nothing special before 13:30:07. I guess the problem is still some bug in sgLog.c.

I just tried to rebuild squidguard 1.4 with the additional 2 patches

http://squidguard.org/Downloads/Patches/1.4/

just to be sure but same results.

2012-08-27 12:01:03 [5902] overflow in vsprintf (sgLogError): Success
2012-08-27 12:01:03 [5902] Going into emergency mode

Durring the midday, this happens every few minutes...

This is really a showstopper right now for us :(

Stefan
