Amos, sorry for this question but I'm not familiar with bugs/reporting and the time it takes o fix this kind of issues.

It's advisable that I wait for a resolution or should I find some other way to fix this problem?

We rely on community help both for finding behaviour problems and fixes, sponsrship etc. It is up to you whether to be proactive or wait. Its a bit of a gamble if and when anyone will fix it unless someone steps up.
