It looks like to be an ipv6 problem. I disabled ipv6 on my OpenSuse, but
squid wants to bind on ::1 (ipv6 localhost) which fails.

Is this a bug ?

The file permissions are correct:

ls -al /opt/squid-3.2/lib/ext_kerberos_ldap_group_acl
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 188868 Apr 4 06:12
/opt/squid-3.2/lib/ext_kerberos_ldap_group_acl

Adding the debug statement does not give any more details (even less
using debug_options ALL, 9). I just get:

Any idea for what I need to look ?

I use squid3-3.1.16-2.3.1.x86_64 on OpenSuse 12.1. My config is:

Hi,

is your squid user allowed to execute your external helper?
(chown proxy:proxy /opt/squid-3.2/lib/ext_kerberos_ldap_group_acl)

If that not help, increase the verbosity of log (debug_options ALL,
1) to 9, you will see what's going wrong.

Regards.

Hi,

if squid run as root, so your permissions are correct.
"debug_options ALL, 9" is full debugging, so it's strange that you have not more log.

Regards.
