http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v3/3.HEAD/ + http://bugs.squid-cache.org/attachment.cgi?id=2640&action=diff is the most stable

About rock store, for me, it's not yet ready for production. 
The first benefit is the cache disk sharing, without rock the squid's process (workers) are independents
