Squid will obey the headers to the best of its capabilities. What you
configure to happen will also change the answer.
b) In cache hierarchy when squid is configured with more than one
parents, can icp/htcp can be used to check for the object in the
neighbor caches ?
Code shows it being possible, though I have not seen it happen. Experiment.
