I did a new compilation of squid 3.1 with ./configure

'/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors/en-gb/ERR_CACHE_ACCESS_DENIED': (2)

and looking at /opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors I get

#find /opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors
/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors
/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors/COPYRIGHT
/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors/templates

<scissors>
/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors/templates/ERR_ONLY_IF_CACHED_MISS
/opt/squid-3.1/share/squid/errors/TRANSLATORS

What do I have to do to get the right error pages installed ?

Thank you

If you are building from a BZR or CVS checkout you need the translate-toolkit to build the translations. Or you can download the langpack tarball for a copy.

The langpack has scripts inside to build the symlinks for dialects like en-gb once the base language files are in place.
