Hi All

What if there is no memory in System and memory allocation for Squid fails? I think default behavior is to Crash. Can we handle it gracefully?

Correct. When the machine is not able to allocate memory Squid will crash.

There are some solutions possible but none yet being worked on. Would you like to assist with coding a fix? Then please join up with squid-dev mailing list and we can get started :)
