Just a quick update, Chrome/Chromium and squid seem to be the only http
client which does not work in this corner case.
I've tried with wget and safari on a apple computer and it worked
"correctly".
By the way, the "HTTP whitespace un-wrapping rules" you're talking about
can be find in RFC 2616 is that correct ?
Yes, section 2.2 "Basic Rules".
I don't think its directly HTTP related though, something is playing
badly at the TCP packet level and dropping ten bytes containing the text
"Date: Wed," or similar. Ten bytes being the data size of those weirdly
fragmented packets.
