Hi,
My squid installation keeps crashing w/ the following error:

assertion failed: filemap.c:78: "fm->max_n_files <= FILEMAP_MAX_SIZE"

cache.log:

Validated 57365064 Entries
store_swap_size = 545677160k

cache config:
cache_dir aufs /squid-disk-b/squid-cache-01 204800 1092 256
cache_dir aufs /squid-disk-b/squid-cache-02 204800 427 256

cache_dir aufs /squid-disk-c/squid-cache-01 204800 427 256
cache_dir aufs /squid-disk-c/squid-cache-02 204800 427 256

store_avg_object_size 15 KB

swap.state sizes:
/squid-disk-b/squid-cache-01: 1.2G
/squid-disk-b/squid-cache-02: 933M
/squid-disk-c/squid-cache-01: 933M
/squid-disk-c/squid-cache-02: 933M

system config:
filesystem: xfs
mount options: noatime,nodiratime,logbufs=8
32GB of RAM, squid using 9.2G resident according to top
df says each squid disk is using 271GB, 230GB still available

any ideas on how to fix this?

mike
