Ok, thx, Guido (and I meant it, not casting blame ... the effort you put in is appreciated). We're going to layer stunnel under both Squid instances ... I'll report back on what happens. -----Original Message----- From: Guido Serassio [mailto:guido.serassio@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2010 2:55 PM To: Bucci, David G; squid-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: EXTERNAL: R: Stable (non-experimental) SSL support in Windows version? You have pointed the problem: The SSL binaries that you are using are generated automatically, without testing SSL functionality. But really I don't know if they works, because nobody has reported any kind of information to us in the last 2 years ..... Same thing happened with the 3.0.20 experimental build, so we assumed that no reporting means non interest at all ... I don't know how to help you, because I don't have any kind of knowledge about OpenSSL on Windows. Regards Guido Serassio Acme Consulting S.r.l.
