Hi Markus,

I wrote the native Windows helpers many time ago, but now I don't remember exactly if the NTLM one needs a DC, but it should, because is a full negotiating NTLM helper. It seems to me that only the Basic one can work using local accounts. Again, I'm not sure, and now I don't have the possibility to make a check.

Oggetto: squid on Windows

Hi

Can I run squid on Windows XP or Vista and provide NTLM authentication for
the XP/Vista local accounts or do I need a DC ?

Thank you
Markus
