I just downloaded squid-3.1 source and compile && install it on an ubuntu linux box. There are two questions around it: 1. # sbin/squid -k kill squid: ERROR: No running copy Though squid is running there, but squid -k kill shows "No running copy". I think this is because squid can't find its pid file, so where is the default pid file? 2. # sbin/squid -D 2010/02/16 15:02:41| WARNING: -D command-line option is obsolete. -D is obsolete, why and what's the corresponding one to this option in squid-3.1? Thanks. -- Jeff Peng Email: jeffpeng@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: compuperson
