Hi, I still have the same problem......Can some one help please? Hi, Sorry for the late update. I had not disabled UAC before installing squid..... So i disabled it, uninstalled the squid service cleared the contents of the log file and and then installed the service again. Its the same problem but now, it is not writing anything into the logfile, its blank. When i try starting the service from the command prompt it says the service could not be started but there were no errors reported. Again, nothing in the log file. Any help?
