Maybe. But I'm inclined to believe its because ...

... the body content in fact NOT being chunked encoded at all?

Make sure you have the latest Squid-2.7 or Squid-3.x release to handle the
chunking properly.

If it still remains, the web server is badly broken. Complain to the
website administrator.
