Hello all,

I'm running Squid 3.0.19 in FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE-p8

There's a large file (2.9G) in /usr/local/squid/logs directory and I don't
know what it is for. The file name is ee.core. I tried opening it but got
a segmentation fault error.

Does anyone know what's stored in this file?

Thats a core dump file. recording the exact state of system memory when some application hit a fatal problem, probably squid due to its location.

Your squid had an "segmentation fault" or "assertion failed" at about the same time the file was created.

Might be a new bug. If you have a debugger, please check it out and let the dev know.
