Hello Henrik

I included in the website http://jb.cancun.net.mx/squid/
3 compressed files with the result of
 squidclient mgr:filedescriptors ls -l /proc/`cat /var/run/squid.pid`/fd/
from 3 diferent squids 3.0 stable 18 proxies
the name of the files are <http://jb.cancun.net.mx/squid/fd-proxy1.tar.gz>fd-proxy1.tar.gz <http://jb.cancun.net.mx/squid/fd-proxy1.tar.gz>fd-proxy2.tar.gz and <http://jb.cancun.net.mx/squid/fd-proxy1.tar.gz>fd-proxy3<http://jb.cancun.net.mx/squid/fd-proxy1.tar.gz>.tar.gz

I take some time to post this, because we wait 8 days for the fd lose to grow
the stats of the 3 caches are for 8 days of operation
proxy1 have much less traffic than proxy2 or proxy3
if you want I have the graphs of the 3 caches or if you want to see someting of the config
please let me know

Odd..

what are these filedescriptors connected to? See cachemgr
filedescriptor page, and /proc for the Squid process

   squidclient mgr:filedescriptors

   ls -l /proc/`cat /var/run/squid.pid`/fd/

Henrik
