Do you use IE ? If so did you check HTTP 1.1 through proxies ? Do you have the destination in the right IE zone ? If I remember right you can use IWA only to sites in the Intranet zone or trusted sites. Also older IEs may not support IWA via proxies. And the proxy need to add "Proxy-support: Session-Based-Authentication"

Hi all,

We are running Squid proxy version 3.0-stable and everybody can
connect to the internet.
but many clients who is trying to connect to an IIS website that requires
user authentication.

we have following error:

HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server
configuration.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

when we bypass squid it works fine and they are prompted to enter
their login details.
i read many forums and sites but i couldn't find solution about this issue.

I wonder if you could help me.
Thanks
Salehi
