What is wrong?
The patch from the bug report was for Squid 3.1.
It's now been accepted and ported down to 3.0 and will be part of the
daily 3.0 snapshot from 20090815 when it appears in ~15 hours.

This is a known and now fixed bug

The fix is on its way down to 3.0 now.
