Squid 3.1.0.12 beta is available

The Squid HTTP Proxy team is very pleased to announce the
availability of the Squid-3.1.0.12 beta release!


This release is primarily a Security update on prior 3.1 releases.


The major changes are for advisory SQUID-2009:2. This is for multiple
vulnerabilities in both request and response processing. The cause is
the same, but there are many variations of possible attack.

All users of Squid-3.1 are urgently advised to move up to this release.


There are also several minor issues fixed in this release:
  - Bug 2716: Chunked request Signed/Unsigned build error
  - Bug 2674: Remove limit on HTTP headers read.
  - Bug 2620: Invalid HTTP response codes causes segfault
  - Fix FTP EPSV negotiation parser.
  - Fix Via string when leak checking is enabled (valgrind etc)
